  14. This program runs on the desktop, complying with all
  15. the necessary rules etc.
  16.  
  17. Clicking SELECT on the volume bar will alter the
  18. volume setting accordingly, and emit a short tone on
  19. channel 1 (if a voice is installed on channel 1).
  20.  
  21. Clicking ADJUST on the volume bar will alter the
  22. volume setting accordingly, without interrupting the
  23. sound already being played, (ie. it will not make a
  24. sound).

  26. If another application alters the volume level (eg.
  27. Maestro) this alteration will be reflected on the
  28. volume bar in the fullness of time,  (note that the
  29. same is not true of Maestro itself !).

  31. A menu is also provided to show the actual *VOLUME
  32. level as a value from 1 - 127 as described in the
  33. user guide.  This value may be changed by typing in
  34. a new value, (if the value you type does not make
  35. sense, it will be ignored).

  37. This application uses 16K of RAM.
  38.  
  39.    Version 2.00 includes the option to set the
  40.      voice on channel 1 but uses 32K of RAM.
  41.      The old program is called !OldImage.

  43.    I hope these notes (and indeed, the program !)
  44.     prove usefull.
